Entry pricing
Clear terms before taking entries.
The organiser chooses whether to absorb Aventa’s 3.5% total fee or add it to the participant’s total. Stripe processing is deducted separately from the organiser’s connected Stripe account. Aventa does not currently charge VAT.
A clear choice for every event.
Aventa’s fee is calculated from the entry and paid extras after discounts. If passed on, the full participant total is disclosed before payment. If absorbed, it is deducted from organiser proceeds. Stripe processing remains the organiser’s cost in either case. Live payments still require approved Stripe setup.
Ask about managed entriesClaiming never transfers control automatically. Aventa verifies the claimant before moving an event into their organisation workspace.

From a listing to event day.
Listings and discovery
Publish dates, location, categories and entry information. Claiming an imported listing requires verification; appearing in the directory does not automatically activate managed entries.
Entries and event day
Review participant records, configure entry options and extras, prepare start lists and export event reports. Your organisation is responsible for event delivery and the information participants need.
Finance and payments
Review payment and fee records, discounts and refund requests. Paid entries require a verified connected Stripe account and approved payment setup. Stripe processing is separate from Aventa’s fee.
Email and marketing
Prepare event messages and campaigns for consented subscribers. Optional marketing stays separate from necessary event communications. Sending depends on a verified sender and enabled delivery; preparing a campaign does not send it.
Reviews and feedback
Collect participant event reviews and review their publication. Organiser testimonials about Aventa follow a separate permission and approval process.
Your data responsibilities
Choose appropriate entry questions, explain how data will be used and protect exports. Agree retention and processing arrangements before collecting information, particularly health details.
