Control optional promotional messages for your account email.

Marketing is optional

Aventa updates and an organiser’s marketing are separate choices. Event-interest selections help an organiser choose relevant messages; stopping marketing below applies to all promotional messages from that organiser for your signed-in email. It does not cancel an entry or stop necessary account, payment and event-service messages.

Aventa Entries newsletter

Newsletter subscriptions are managed by Aventa Operations, separately from the organiser records below. Use Choose my updates on the home page to select new interests, then confirm the email to apply them. Use the unsubscribe link in an Entries email to stop Entries marketing without changing Advisory preferences, or contact us to withdraw permission.

Newsletter requests are not active subscriptions until confirmed. A change of interests replaces your previous Entries interests only. Existing organiser subscriptions are not automatically imported into the newsletter audience.

Your organiser subscriptions

Log in with the email you subscribed with to view and stop marketing. If you do not have an account or use another email, contact us to withdraw permission. You do not need to create an account to make that request.

Permission and suppression

Subscription forms ask for marketing permission and record its source and time. We keep a minimum suppression record to avoid accidentally adding an unsubscribed address back through a public signup form. Ask us to review an incorrect record or a request to subscribe again.

Campaign delivery must honour current consent and suppression records, including changes made after a campaign was drafted. Campaign preparation does not mean a message has been sent. A verified sender, working unsubscribe process and delivery checks are required before marketing is activated.

Questions or objections

You can object to direct marketing at any time. Use Contact and identify the email address and sender concerned. Optional marketing is governed by data-protection law and the electronic-marketing rules explained in the ICO’s marketing guidance.
